Chef Ashley Lujares is a Filipino American chef specializing in Southeast Asian cuisine, with a deep passion for Filipino-American fare. With nearly two decades of culinary experience, she is known for her bold flavors, inventive techniques, and strong connection to her cultural roots.
Her career has taken her through some of Boston’s most celebrated kitchens, including serving as Executive Chef at Myers + Chang and working as a savory chef at Flour Bakery + Café’s Fort Point location. Beyond the line, Ashley has expanded her creative reach through recipe development, menu creation, and food styling for Purple Carrot, showcasing her versatility and thoughtful approach to modern cooking.
In 2024, Ashley brought her culinary vision to the national stage as a competitor on Food Network’s Chopped and won earning recognition for her creativity, precision, and artistry under pressure.
Today, through pop-up dinners, events, and cooking classes across Boston, Ashley continues to share her love for modern Filipino cuisine. Her food is a vibrant fusion of traditional Filipino flavors and the nostalgic influences of her American upbringing. Each dish tells a story of heritage, identity, and passion, inviting diners to experience Filipino cuisine in a fresh, contemporary way.
